Sarah Lowengard
I am a NYC-based historian of technology and science; my research specialties are the chemistry and physics of the early modern West. Well, that's the elevator pitch I devised to stop further questions. In fact, I write about contemporary relationships between technical skills and intellectual explanations, and most often my work centers on color.
I teach at a school where I am the historian of science, the historian of technology and the historian of early modern Europe, so my teaching portfolio is considerably broader than my research portfolio.
